Brookwood Village Restaurant, Clothing Store To Close Permanently

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Two more Brookwood Village businesses have permanently closed their doors. Jason's Deli announced last week that the restaurant would not reopen after being closed from the COVID-19 pandemic, and Ann Taylor Loft announced it will close by the end of the month, becoming the fourth and fifth businesses in the mall to close in the last few months.

Longtime Brookwood Village tenants Books-A-Million, Cocina Superior and Brio Tuscan Grille also announced closures since the pandemic began in March.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way retail in the area has had to operate, and restaurants have been hit especially, as health guidelines are more stringent when dealing with food.
