CBD Store Opens In Mountain Brook

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — One of the hottest products on the health supplement market today is CBD, or cannabidiol, which was finally deemed legal in Alabama in 2018. Since its legalization, more than two dozen CBD stores have opened in the state, with the latest one opening in Mountain Brook.

Your CBD Store opened at the end of June in English Village on Olde English Lane. A report by Village Living said Joe Tanko, a retired federal government employee, opened Your CBD Store after the company was started by an in-law of his daughter, Lauren Beno, who opened a Your CBD Store location in Florida last fall with her husband.

There are Your CBD Store locations on Highway 280 and in Trussville.

Your CBD Store products are made using organically grown hemp from Colorado which has been certified by that state's Department of Agriculture. This phytocannabinoid rich hemp has a naturally high CBD level, and an abundance of other beneficial cannabinoids, as well as flavonoids, terpenes, and essential amino acids.

The oil contains no THC, the chemical in cannabis that causes the "high" sought by recreational users. Customers can choose from water-soluble, edibles, tinctures, soft gels, vaping e-liquids, and topical applications. The products sold at Your CBD Store are intended to be used as an herbal supplement and no prescription is necessary.

Your CBD Store is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
