City Council To Hold Second Public Meeting on Overton Condos

The council will open the floor to the public during its meeting tonight at 7 p.m.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Mountain Brook City Council is prepared to hold its second public hearing to address the Overton Condos development on Monday night. The council will hear more from residents of the area, who have expressed concerns over the development's potential impact on their neighborhood.

The developer previously spoke on his plans at the last public hearing on Nov. 13, and residents were offered the opportunity to respond. The residents raised concerns over increased traffic, which the developing company decided to study in the aftermath of the meeting. The council elected to delay a vote on the issue.

The council will open the floor to the public during its meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
