MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — In Patch's monthly Q&A with Mountain Brook city manager Sam Gaston, readers have submitted a variety of questions and concerns to Gaston, but one prevalent subject each month from readers has been the status of sidewalk projects in the city.
This month was no exception, as multiple readers had questions on the progress or status of sidewalk construction in Mountain Brook.

- Hagood sidewalks from Euclid Avenue to Montclair in cooperation with the City of Birmingham. Bid should be awarded in the summer with construction starting late summer or early fall.
- Our Public Works Dept, this summer , will construct the final section of sidewalk on North Woodridge to Bethune Drive completing this link.
- Sidewalks on Pine Ridge Road from Old Leeds Road to Overbrook Road/Mountain Brook Parkway. Engineering and design of this project is continuing with an estimated construction start date of late 2022 or early 2023.
