Crestline Village Traffic To Be Impacted By Halloween Parade

Mountain Brook residents should anticipate traffic delays at 3 p.m. on Oct. 31 as Crestline Village shuts down some of its roads.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — With the return of the Mystics of Mountain Brook parade for Halloween, Mountain Brook residents should anticipate traffic delays at 3 p.m. on Oct. 31 as Crestline Village shuts down some of its roads for the event.

Church Street will be close off right at 3 p.m. so temporary road barriers can be put up in preparation for the parade. Any cars parked on the street won't be able to leave until after the fencing is removed.

Traffic will be redirected from Crestline at 3:45 p.m. before the parade's 4 p.m. start, and will resume at 5 p.m. when the parade has completed its route.

The parade will begin on Dan Watkins by the Emmet O'Neal Library, continuing onto Oak Street toward West Jackson and Church Street. The parade will then turn left onto Euclid and finish on Dan Watkins and Country Club Boulevard.

The Mountain Chamber of Commerce has advised that any vehicles leaving Crestline use East Fairway Drive, Vine Street or Dexter Avenue to avoid parade traffic. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Birmingham Patch morning newsletter.)
