Curfew In Effect For Mountain Brook Monday Night
The City of Mountain Brook has set a curfew amid protests in surrounding areas.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Amid concerns over recent protests in surrounding communities regarding the death of George Floyd in Minnesota, Mountain Brook has set a curfew for its residents from 7 p.m. Monday until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The curfew will renew daily until further notice.

In essence, travel on city roads is limited to essential tasks, such as shopping for food, going to and from work and other exceptions.
As well, school-related activities are exempt from the curfew.
