Expect Traffic Delays During Statue To Statue 15K

The Mountain Brook Police Department says to expect delays throughout the morning Saturday due to the Statue to Statue run.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - A 15K run from Vulcan Park atop Red Mountain to the Statue of Liberty at Liberty Park in Vestavia Hills will run predominantly through the city of Mountain Brook, and the Mountain Brook Police Department issued a statement reminding residents that the event will cause some traffic delays and detours throughout the morning.

The Statue to Statue 15K run will take place this Saturday, April 7, from 7:30 a.m. until approximately 10 a.m. "It will enter our city in English Village and exit via Oakdale Drive near Liberty Park," the MBPD said in a statement. "There will be traffic delays throughout the city as a result."
