Former Mountain Brook Basketball Player Killed In Shooting
Terrell Guy was a senior transfer to Mountain Brook and helped lead the team to the state championship.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A former Mountain Brook High School basketball player was killed in a Dec. 10 shooting in Birmingham. Terrell Guy, 21, was killed at HighPointe Apartments on Valley Avenue after what authorities believe was a gambling dispute.
Guy was a high school standout during his senior year, sending the Spartans to the 2015 state championship with a last second three pointer. He was also named MVP of the Class 7A, Area 6 tournament at Mountain Brook High School, as well as to the Class 7A Northeast Regional All-tournament team at Jacksonville State.
No arrests have been made in connection with Guy's killing.
