House Fire in Mountain Brook Contained

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A fire on Dell Road in Mountain Brook Monday morning was contained by the Mountain Brook Fire Department by the afternoon. No injuries were reported during the blaze.

Lt. Adam Bomar of the Mountain Brook Fire Department said the first truck arrived on the scene at 10:15 Monday morning.

"We were able to get it knocked down in about 15 minutes," Bomar said. "There were no injuries and we were able to get two dogs out of the house alive."

Bomar said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
