Lane Parke Shopping Center To Commence With Phase Two

Phase two will be completed by June 30, 2018, with demolition of the current center commencing in the following month.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook Village's long awaited retail development is inching closer to completion in 2018. The Lane Parke shopping center will commence its second phase, picking up construction in the new year.

According to Village Living, developer Evson Inc. said that construction will pick back up after a delay due to Rite Aid's lease, and that phase two will be completed by June 30, 2018, with demolition of the current center commencing in the following month.

Jemison Lane is also expected to be completed by March 2018.

Developers are planning for a single grand opening for all future tenants. There will be room in the center for 18 tenants, though that number can change based on each businesses specifications.
