MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — As Alabama decides on its next senator on the Dec. 12 special election, MSNBC's "Morning Joe" will do a live broadcast from Mountain Brook, AL.com reported. Hosts Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist will spend the day at Char Bar No. 7 in Lane Parke during the election.
Scarborough will be returning to Alabama just a few miles from his alma mater. Before serving as a Florida congressman, Scarborough graduated from the University of Alabama.
"Morning Joe" airs from 5 to 8 a.m. and will include a live audience at the restaurant as the hosts discuss the special election between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Doug Jones, which became an international scandal when Moore was accused of improper sexual contact with underage girls when he was in his 30s.
