Mountain Brook Entertainment Districts: Council To Discuss Plans
The Mountain Brook City Council will review the proposal for the three entertainment districts planned for the city.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — With the villages of Mountain Brook cleared to become entertainment districts, the Mountain Brook City Council will review the proposal for the new districts in its meeting May 24.
The council will discuss the proposed entertainment districts for Crestline, Mountain Brook and English villages. This meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., is an opportunity for residents to share any questions or concerns regarding the entertainment districts for consideration.
What the entertainment district designation means is that businesses with alcohol licenses can sell alcohol to be consumed off-premises within certain boundaries and hours, similar to recent designations of Pepper Place, 5 Points South, Uptown and Avondale in Birmingham and Stadium Trace Village in Hoover, Downtown Trussville and Rocky Ridge in Vestavia Hills.
