Mountain Brook Fire Department Announces Newest Hire
Quartavious "Tay" Hill, a certified firefighter and EMT, joined the Mountain Brook Fire Department on Tuesday.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The Mountain Brook Fire Department has a new firefighter.
Quartavious “Tay” Hill's started his official first day as the newest member of the department Tuesday.
According to the fire department, Hill comes to MBFD from the Bessemer Fire Department. He is an Alabama-certified firefighter as well as a nationally-registered and Alabama-licensed EMT.

Hill attended and graduated from the 2017 Mountain Brook Fire recruit school.
He currently lives in Avondale.
