Mountain Brook Holiday Hours and Closures

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — The City of Mountain Brook's municipal offices will be closed on Dec. 25 and 26 in observance of the Christmas holiday, as well as on Jan. 1 for New Year's.

For both of those closure periods, trash service will be delayed by one day.

Emmet O'Neal Library will close early at 6 p.m. on Dec. 21 and remain closed through Dec. 25. On Dec. 26-28, the library will close early at 6 p.m. before returning to its regular hours on Dec. 29 and 30. The library will close in observance of New Year's on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 and resume normal hours on Jan. 2.

Mountain Brook City Schools' winter break runs from Dec. 21-Jan. 4. Teachers will return early for a professional day on Jan. 3.
