Mountain Brook Moves Up In ASWA Poll
The Spartans had a much-needed off week last week, and face Briarwood Thursday.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook had a much-needed off week last week, as the team was able to heal some injuries after a 31-0 loss to 7A no. 1 Thompson. The off week allowed the Spartans to move up a spot in the Alabama Sports Writers Association poll this week.
The ASWA has Mountain Brook ranked no. 2 behind Oxford this week, moving up a spot after a loss Friday by then-no. 2 Saraland.
The Spartans face Briarwood Thursday.
