A recent report by research website HomeSnacks ranked the 10 Safest States in Alabama, and Mountain Brook was ranked at no. 2 on the list.

Mountain Brook has the 3rd lowest rate of violent crime and 5th lowest rate of property crime in Alabama. And, like Rainbow City (which ranked no. 1), Mountain Brook also boasts having zero homicides in the last year of data.
