Mountain Brook Spartans Head Into Playoff Against Bob Jones
The Spartans will head up to Madison, Alabama on Friday to face the No. 2 seed from Region 4.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL – Coming off of a loss to Ramsay last week 28-7, the Spartans are looking to recover in its first playoff game against the Bob Jones Patriots. The Spartans will head up to Madison, Alabama on Friday to face the No. 2 seed from Region 4.
The Patriots hold a 7-3 record for the season with 7-1 in region play, its only loss against undefeated Hewitt-Trussville. Its other two non-region losses came from No. 1 teams Central-Phenix City and Austin. Bob Jones and Mountain Brook have faced each other three times, with Bob Jones taking the series 2-1.
The winner of round one will face the winner of the Thompson-Huntsville game on Nov. 17.
