Music Camps For Kids Offered This Summer By Mason Music

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Learning music is one of the most beneficial lessons a child can learn, studies have shown. And Mason Music in Mountain Brook wants to share that experience with children this summer. Spots are still open for a variety of music camps offered by Mason Music's Mountain Brook location.

Mason Music' Camp For Beginners takes place July 16-20 at the Mountain Brook Village location, and July 30-Aug. 3 at the Cahaba Heights location. For students 6-9 years old who have little or no experience with music and may be wondering which instrument is right for them, the Camp for Beginners is a half-day music camp that teaches students the basics of how to sing and play the guitar, piano, drums and violin. This camp is $175.

The Overdrive Camp is scheduled for July 23-28 at the Cahaba Heights Studio and Mason Music Recording Studio. This camp is for students who have at least 2 years of experience on their instrument or have been to Mason Music's Rock Band Camps or Rock Band League. It is a one-of-a-kind, one-week camp where students will be plugged into bands that play together, write together and record together to create an actual demo of your music. This camp is $500.

The STARS Preschool Music Camp still has some openings at the Cahaba Heights location for June 25-29. This camp is $125 and for 3-5 year olds.
