New Children's Clothing Boutique Opens In Crestline Village

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - Crestline Village in Mountain Brook has another new business in its slew of new stores and restaurants that have opened in the last year. Mon Ami, a high-end clothing boutique featuring curated clothing for children sizes six through 16, opened on Church Street this month.

Mother and daughter team Farren Michel and Aja Powanda are the owners of the new store, bringing clothing from New York. Paris, Brazil and more to the Mountain Brook retail scene.

A report by the Birmingham Business Journal said Powanda previously worked in a high-end children’s boutique in New York City before returning home to Mountain Brook three years ago.

Mon Ami is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
