New Farmers Market To Open In Mountain Brook
A new farmers market is set to open in Mountain Brook next month at a local church.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - The weather is getting warmer, people are getting out more and all over the Birmingham metro, produce stands are popping up. With the growing popularity of farmers markets and farm-to-table meal concepts, new markets seem to pop up often in the area. The lkatest will open in Moutnain Brook in June.
According to a report by the Birmingham Business Journal, The Mountain Brook Farmers Market is set to open June 2 at Mountain Brook Presbyterian Church on Brookwood Road. The Mountain Brook City Council approved the weekly event at its most recent meeting.
The market will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. until noon, and will feature Alabama growers and producers.
