New Restaurant Opens At Former Mountain Brook Inn Site
A Nashville-based restaurant has opened on US 280 at the former Mountain Brook Inn site.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - The site where the Mountain Brook Inn stood for years has been the source of questions regarding what might locate to the prime spot on US 280. At least part of the site has now been occupied, as the Nashville-based BrickTop's restaurant opened this week at the site. The restaurant occupies roughly a third of the site, as a hotel is slated for the remainder of the lot.

“The sophisticated dining scene that has been thriving in Birmingham for decades is a perfect fit for the hospitality, food and great service that BrickTop’s has to offer,” a company release said. “We very much are looking forward to becoming part of the booming food scene in the Magic City.”

The BrickTop’s menu includes steak, seafood, sushi, sandwiches, salads, cocktails and Sunday brunch, among other offerings.
It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
