Nothing Bundt Cakes to Celebrate 20th Anniversary
After its first year at the Summit, Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrating its 20th anniversary.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Nothing Bundt Cakes has two important dates to celebrate in the upcoming month: its move into the Summit last year, and its 20th anniversary in business as a whole. The store will host an anniversary celebration on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its location at the Summit.
The company is based in Addison, Texas, and opened its Mountain Brook location last year in a 1,969 space next to Pottery Barn. Huntsville also has a franchise in Valley Bend at Jones Farm that opened in 2012.
The first 100 visitors to show up at 10 a.m. and by two of the shop's "bundtlets" will receive one free bundtlet a month for the next year. From noon to 3 p.m., Art by Shanda will host a free family fun event at the shop, including face painting, balloon art and free cake samples. Then at 4 p.m., the shop will have a raffle to give away a cake for an event of the winner's choice.
