Olive Garden In Eastwood Closes Permanently

BIRMINGHAM, AL — After more than 25 years in business, the Olive Garden restaurant on Crestwood Boulevard has closed its doors permanently. A statement from the company cited decreased ales as the reason for the closure.

"While this decision is not a reflection of the quality of our team members’ work, we could no longer justify continuing to operate this location given historical sales trends," said Hunter Robinson, Olive Garden's communications manager. "Everyone currently working on the Eastwood team will receive severance pay."

The Eastwood Olive Garden opened in 1990, replacing a Krispy Kreme location that stood for decades at that address.
