One Council Seat Challenged In Mountain Brook Elections
Municipal elections in Mountain Brook will take place August 25, and just one of the city council seats has multiple candidates.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Municipal election in Mountain Brook will take place August 25, and just one of the Mountain Brook City Council members is running opposed. Mayor Stewart Welch is also running unopposed.
Councilman Philip Black is running for re-election for Place 2, and will be challenged by Gerald Garner. Black is completing his first term on the council.
Garner is a member of the Board of Zoning Adjustment and is a financial advisor at UBS Financial Services.
