Portion Of Montevallo Road In Mountain Brook To Close Monday
Spire will continue its project in Mountain Brook Monday, which will close part of Montevallo Road.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A gas line project by Spire will close one of Mountain Brook's busiest streets Monday. Montevallo Road from Glencoe Drive to Glenview Drive will be closed beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Spire will have a detour for all the traffic to keep flowing around the work area, and traffic control will be present at both ends of the detour to give directions or help anybody that may have questions.
Spire said they will work with the homeowners that live within the road closure to allow them to get to their homes.

The road closure is expected to last from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but city officials said the project may take longer.
