Registration Open For Mountain Brook Schools Extended Day Program

Parents wishing to sign their kids up for Mountain Brook's Extended Day Program for the fall can do so now.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Parents who wish to sign their kids up for the Extended Day Program in any of Mountain Brook's elementary schools can register now. Mountain Brook Schools opened registration for EDP Monday.

The Mountain Brook Schools Extended Day Program is offered to all families with students grades K-6. If enrolled, students are required to attend the local program based at their elementary school.

The EDP program requests that students be age-appropriately independent. All students participating in EDP must follow the behavior guidelines of the Mountain Brook Schools Code of Conduct. A student with repeat disciplinary warnings may be removed from EDP for the remainder of the school year.

EDP operates from 3-6 p.m. at each local elementary school. Students will have the opportunity to participate in regular EDP activities or may sign up for tuition-based community enrichment programs. EDP will begin on August 10 and will be offered on Early Release Days, but an additional fee will apply.

  • Prorated Months- August $180, December $146, March $214
  • Part-Time- $25/day (Parents select days per week. Same days per week are required.)
  • Full-Time-Sibling Discount Tuition- $200
  • Registration Fee- $50
  • Late Pick Up- $2/per minute
  • Early Release Day Fee: $15
