Road Work To Close Overton Road August 3
Road construction on Overton Road this Saturday at Stoneleigh Drive will close the road for most of the day.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Road work scheduled for Overton Road is expected to close the road for most of the day Saturday, August 3.
The work will take place at the intersection of Stoneleigh Drive. This section of Overton Road will be temporarily closed to through traffic from approximately 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. while crews replace a drainage pipe.
Local access to North River Road, Old Overton Road, and the residential properties along this section of Overton Road will be allowed access via Liberty Parkway. Stoneleigh Drive will need to be accessed via Lemieux Lane.

The temporary road closure is anticipated for only this one day, but work will continue in the project area for approximately 2 weeks.
