Spartans Finish Regular Season Ranked No. 2 Entering Playoffs
Mountain Brook enters the Class 6A football playoffs ranked no. 2 by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook finished the regular season ranked in the same spot the Spartans began the season in the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 6A poll. The Spartans take their no. 2 ranking into the first round of the AHSAA football playoffs Friday.
Mountain Brook captured the Class 6A Region 5 championship with a win over Chelsea Oct. 24, and will host Muscle Shoals Friday in the first round of the playoffs.
