Spartans Head Into Thursday Night Game At No. 2
The Alabama Sports Writers Association kept Mountain Brook at the no. 2 spot in Class 6A.

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook's 17-7 win over Briarwood last Thursday was enough to keep the Spartans ranked second in Class 6A in the most recent Alabama Sports Writers Association poll.
Mountain Brook is the only unbeaten team in its region, and has not lost a game in 6A play this season, with the only blemish being a loss to 7A Thompson.
The Spartans host Homewood Thursday night.
