Spartans Hoops Star Commits To Iowa Central

MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Point guard Bo Barber of the Mountain Brook boys state championship basketball team announced Friday he will play basketball at Iowa Central in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

"Blessed to announce that I will be furthering my academic and athletic career at Iowa Central," Barber said via social media Friday. "I would like to give a special thanks to my family, friends, coaches, teammates and the entire Mountain Brook community for being by my side along the way."

Barber, an honorable mention All-State selection this year for the state champion Spartans, also received offers from Millsaps College and Covenant College, among others.
