Water Main Break Closes Old Leeds At Shady Lane
Drivers will need to take an alternate route until the Birmingham Water Works Board repairs the break.
MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL - A water main break on Old Leeds Road at Shady Lane has closed the road Tuesday morning while Birmingham Water Works Board crews work to repair the problem. The portion of the road between Cherokee Road and Forest Glen is currently closed to traffic.
A report from the Mountain Brook Police Department said a timetable has not been set for when Old Leeds Road will re-open.
