2 Clay City Council Members Resign

CLAY, AL — Two members of the Clay City Council resigned Tuesday night. Dennis Locke and Ben Thackerson both submitted their resignations to the Clay City Council at Tuesday's meeting, according to a Trussville Tribune report.

Both councilors resigned because they recently sold their homes in Clay and will no longer be residents of the city. Locke has served on the council since 2016 and Thackerson has served on the council since 2012.
