Alabama ABC Board To Temporarily Close Several Local Stores
The Alabama ABC Board will temporarily shutter 41 stores statewide in response to rapid COVID-19 spread.
MONTGOMERY, AL — The Alabama ABC Board will close 41 stores statewide in response to rapid spread of COVID-19. Some of those stores affected are in the Trussville area.
A release from the ABC Board Monday said stores would hopefully reopen in late February or early March.

- Store 30, Tarrant City (2074 Springdale Lane)
- Store 143, Chalkville (5712 Chalkville Road)
- Store 230, Pinson (6662 Highway 75)
"Closing some of our stores will provide the greatest amount of employee/customer protection, while ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency," ABC Board Administrator Mac Gipson said. "Our primary concern is the health and well-being of our employees and patrons."
The ABC Board closed 78 of its stores when the pandemic hit in March, and gradually reopened the stores as infection rates decreased.
