City Of Trussville Hires First Personnel Director
Peggy Washington-Polk was hired as Trussville's Director of Personnel and will start with the city on Aug. 19.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — For the first time in the city's history, Trussville now has a Director of Personnel. The hire was made this week at the Trussville City Council meeting.
Peggy Washington-Polk was hired for the new role and will start with the city on Aug. 19.
Mayor Buddy Choat told the Trussville Tribune that out of the six candidates brought in for interviews, Washington-Polk was the "obvious choice."

Washington-Polk served as the Human Resources Director for the City of Birmingham before retiring last year, and brings more than 20 years experience in personnel matters to her hometown of Trussville.
