Cougars Advance, Indians Drop, Huskies Stay Put in Latest Poll

The Alabama Sports Writers Association poll was thrown for a loop in 6A with losses by two top 4 teams.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A loss by Pinson Valley Friday night set the Indians back in the Alabama Sports Writers Association poll this week, but worked out well for Clay-Chalkville.

Pinson Valley and Clay-Chalkville swapped places in the ASWA poll, this week after the Indians lost 14-13 to 5A Ramsay. The Cougars are now ranked 4th, and the Indians are 5th.

Pinson Valley has a week off after its scheduled game against Mortimer Jordan was cancelled. Clay-Chalkville hosts Jackson-Olin this week.
