Cougars, Indians Face Off Friday In Battle Of Top 5 Teams

The latest Alabama Sports Writers Association poll has Clay-Chalkville, Pinson Valley and Hewitt-Trussville still in the top 5.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — Clay-Chalkville, Pinson Valley and Hewitt-Trussville kept their top 5 rankings in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association poll, which sets up an epic battle Friday night when the Cougars host the Indians.

Clay-Chalkville remained ranked no. 3 in Class 6A, as the undefeated Cougars look to break a six-game losing streak against their cross-town rivals. The game will also determine the Region 6 championship.
