TRUSSVILLE, AL — A family from Remlap is searching for their dog after the Yorkshire terrier escaped from Deerfoot Animal Clinic in Trussville Sunday. A Trussville Tribune report said the family boarded the dog at the facility before going on a trip to Disney World.

Deerfoot Animal Clinic owner, Dr. Scott Russell, told the Trussville Tribune that Evie, the 5-pound Yorkie, slipped out of a small opening between the building and the fence, while kennel attendants were inside cleaning the runs.

The family is offering a $2,000 reward for the return of Evie. Deerfoot Animal Clinic is also offering a reward, and asked that anyone who may have information on Evie's whereabouts call them at 205-661-9630.
