TRUSSVILLE, AL - One of the most popular pizza restaurants in Birmingham may open a second restaurant in Trussville. Owners of The Filling Station, which has been successful in its Crestwood location, introduced plans for a restaurant in Trussville.

A Trussville Tribune report said two renderings were presented by a representative from Milam & Co. Construction. The property at 112 South Chalkville would be converted from an auto service shop, formerly Liberty Automotive, to a restaurant and bar.

This is similar to the concept in Crestwood, where a building that was once a Chevron gas station and auto repair shop was converted into a restaurant.
