Former Husky Inks Deal With Miami Dolphins

MIAMI, FL — Former Hewitt-Trussville football standout Noah Igbinoghene has signed his first professional football contract, agreeing to a four-year deal with the Miami Dolphins Wednesday. Igbinoghene was selected in the first round by the Dolphins in the 2020 NFL Draft.

According to NFL.com, Igbinoghene's deal is worth $11.25 million and includes a $5.74 million signing bonus.

Igbinoghene was a star wide receiver for the Huskies before being transformed into a defensive back during his sophomore season at Auburn. He finished his career at Auburn with 92 tackles, and as the Tigers' primary kickoff returner, scored two touchdowns on returns, including a 96-yard kickoff return for touchdown vs. Minnesota in the Outback Bowl.

An All-State player at Hewitt-Trussville, Igbinoghene had more than 1,700 all-purpose yards and 18 touchdowns in 12 games his senior year.
