Gray Car Murals Looks To Add Murals Throughout Trussville
A new local nonprofit organization aims to add murals in several locations in Trussville.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — Trussville residents may start seeing a more colorful city in the coming year, thanks to a new local nonprofit organization. Gray Car Murals aims to paint murals in several locations throughout Trussville, according to a Trussville Tribune report.
Gray Car Murals was started by Marc Ward, his wife Callie (who is an art teacher at Magnolia Elementary School) and his mother, Marcia.
The first project will be at the Trussville Public Library, with a design by Callie Ward depicting a woman enjoying reading under a "book tree."

Marc Ward told the Trussville Tribune he is reaching out to building owners in downtown Trussville and been approached by a business owner already about a mural for the entertainment district.
