TUSCALOOSA, AL — One of college football's most productive newcomers in the 2020 season has been given his due by SEC coaches, as Hewitt-Trussville High School alum Malachi Moore was honored with a spot on the SEC All-Freshman team for this season.

Moore also was named a second-team ALL-SEC defensive back. Moore started all 11 of Alabama's games as a true freshman, and was named the SEC Freshman of the Week twice during the season, for his play against Texas A&M and Mississippi State.
