Hewitt-Trussville High School On U.S. News Top 20 In Alabama

TRUSSVILLE, AL — Hewitt-Trussville High School is ranked among the top 20 high schools in Alabama, according to a new ranking by U.S. News and World Report.

This year's list ranks more than 17,800 public high schools throughout the country, and broken down into state's Hewitt-Trussville High School ranked no. 20 on the list.

10. James Clemens High School (Madison)
11. Hartselle High School (Hartselle)
12. Auburn High School (Auburn)
13. Oak Mountain High School (Shelby County)
14. Arab High School (Arab)
15. Ramsay High School (Birmingham)

The methodology used for this year's ranking focused on six factors: college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates.

The data used in this edition is from the 2018-2019 academic school year and, therefore, was not affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
