Man Shot Multiple Times In His Car In Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A 50-year-old man was shot multiple times while in his car on Valley Road in Jefferson County Thursday night. The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. near Fairfield Boulevard.

The victim was taken by ambulance to UAB Hospital where his current condition is unknown. Sgt. Joni Money said deputies found the man still in his 2105 Honda Accord with multiple gunshot wounds.

Jefferson County Sheriff’s Detectives are continuing the investigation and are urging the public to contact them with any information they may have on the circumstances surrounding this shooting.
