Pinson Valley's GaQuincy McKinstry Commits To Alabama
Two-sport star GaQuicny McKinstry of Pinson Valley will play football and basketball for the Crimson Tide.
PINSON, AL — One of the country's most sought-after high school football and basketball players has committed to play both sports for the University of Alabama, as Pinson Valley's GaQuincy McKinstry announced his college decision Sunday.
The five-star recruit chose Alabama over SEC rivals Auburn and LSU, and while McKinstry has played multiple positions for the Indians, he is considered the top defensive back prospect in the country.
"I felt a lot of ways about about all three schools," McKinstry said in a statement on social media. "I was close to committing to all three schools at one point, but it finally hit me that Alabama was the place for me."
