Is the nominee considered an “essential worker”?:
Yes
What does the nominee do for work?:
She has been making masks for all of the health care workers; she is 81 years young, disabled and has been working nonstop using all of her own materials.
Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Because in my eyes she’s a HERO!!! She has survived a Kidney Transplant & has had to bury a daughter...she’s disabled and just celebrated her 81st birthday, and since day one of the Stay at Home Order she has literally worked nonstop using all of her own supplies to make sure all of the hospital workers had masks!
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
That she is the kindest most giving and selfless person that I have EVER met...despite her disabilities and compromised immune system she doesn’t slow down from the minute her feet hit the floor every morning; she thinks of others before she ever thinks about herself and she absolutely refuses to let anybody do anything for her!
