State Trooper Pursuit Leads To Crash In Trussville

A motorcycle crashed in Trussville Saturday during a pursuit by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — State troopers engaged in a pursuit of a motorcyclist Saturday that ended in Trussville when the motorcycle crashed in the 2800 block of Queenstown Road. The crash occurred just before 3 p.m., according to a Trussville Tribune report.

The Tribune report said the motorist fled a traffic stop in St. Clair County, and was spotted by troopers near Leeds.

"A Bolo was issued and an officer with ALEA located the motorcycle near the Grand River Outlet Mall," the Sheriff’s Office said in a release. "The motorcycle was pursued by ALEA into Trussville where the driver lost control."

The driver had outstanding warrants, according to law enforcement.
