Trussville Native Announces Run For City Council

Jaime Melton Anderson announced this week she is seeking a spot on the Trussville City Council.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Trussville native and longtime resident is seeking a spot on the Trussville City Council. Lt. Col. Jaime Melton Anderson announced this week she is running for Place #3, vacated by Councilman Jeff Freeman, according to a Trussville Tribune report.

Anderson is a 1994 graduate of Hewitt-Trussville High School, and a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserves. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998, and also holds a Master’s Degree in Education.
