The Trussville Police Department is searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a road rage shooting on Saturday.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — Police say a road rage incident led to shot being fired at a vehicle in Trussville Saturday. The incident began just after 8 p.m. on Interstate 459, according to a Trussville Tribune report.
Trussville police said the driver of a gray and blue Chevrolet Suburban slammed on the brakes as it was approaching the exit to Interstate 59, forcing the two tractor-trailers behind the SUV to brake. One of the tractor-trailers swerved into the middle lane of the interstate.
One of the truck drivers said the SUV driver continued to slam on his brakes in front of him then left the scene. The truck driver said he noticed the SUV was parked on the shoulder on I-59, followed the truck, and eventually shot at him upon passing.
