Trussville Pizza Restaurant Closes

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A pizza restaurant in Trussville announced it has closed permanently, and did so via a note on the restaurant door. Salvatore's Pizza and Pasta, located at 1430 Gadsden Highway, will now focus on its Hoover location solely.

According to the Trussville Tribune, customers found a note on the restaurant door last week that read:

Dear Patrons of Salvatore’s Trussville,

I am very sorry to say this location is closed. Memorial Day weekend we had 1 out of 12 employees walk out of our Hoover store. So, since then we has (sic) had a day. And we all worked both stores. Last weekend we ran out of prepared food in both locations. No shredded cheese, dough or sauce. So we knew it was time to close and focus on one store.
It is hard to say goodbye I have become friends with many of you. It has been wonderful serving you!
