Trussville Resident Involved In Fatal Car Crash
A Trussville resident was the driver of a vehicle involved in a crash that resulted in the death of a Fayette man.
MARION COUNTY, AL - A two-vehicle crash in Marion County over the weekend claimed the life of a Fayette man, and involved a Trussville resident.
According to a report by the Trussville Tribune, Gresdrough V. Ivie, Jr., 58, of Fayette, was killed when the 1999 Toyota Corolla he was driving collided with a 2007 Hummer H2 driven by Robert J. Withers of Trussville.
Alabama State Troopers said the crash occurred on AL-233 approximately five miles east of Brilliant at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Friday.
